The elevator in the building will use magnetic levitation to operate

For more than 160 years, the elevators used in the buildings were all lifted by cables. Now engineers have designed a way to replace the cables with magnets. Installing a magnetic levitation can quickly and smoothly pull the elevator cabin. This design concept is reminiscent of a float glass elevator in the 1971 film Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. A German company believes that such a design will change people's movement within the building, reduce passengers' waiting time, and occupy less space.
The designer stated that the ideal building height is 985 feet and about 300 meters, but it can be installed in a smaller structure. "Architectural design will no longer be limited by the height of the elevator or the need for vertical alignment, it has more open possibilities." In a cycle running at a targeted speed of 16 feet per second, this means that passengers only Wait about 30 seconds for the cabin. This will be officially tested in Germany.
