Glencoe Public Safety Department history

Here's a message from Larry Shapiro:

While going through some old photos, I stumbled upon these three images that span over thirty years of Glencoe fire engines at the scene of fires.

Glencoe FD engine 30 E-ONE Typhoon

Glencoe FD Engine 30, an E-ONE Typhoon, at a fire scene in 2016. Photographed by Larry Shapiro.

These photos not only show the evolution of firefighting equipment over time but also highlight the dedication and bravery of the Glencoe Fire Department. From the classic American LaFrance models to modern E-ONE trucks, each image tells a story of service and community. It's fascinating to see how the department has grown while maintaining its commitment to safety and emergency response.
