Fox River & Countryside FPD to appoint operations chief

Excerpts from the KaneCountyChronicle.com:

The Fox River and Countryside Fire/Rescue District is set to make a key leadership change as its board prepares to appoint a new chief of operations at a special meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 25. This development marks a shift in the district’s internal structure, aiming to streamline operations and improve efficiency across its two fire stations.

Board President Jim Gaffney confirmed that the new chief of operations will not replace current Chief Greg Benson, who has been leading the district since its formation in 2011. Instead, this newly created role will focus specifically on managing the daily operations at the district's two stations. “We’re trying to separate these roles to ensure we can achieve our goals more effectively,” Gaffney explained.

Although the identity of the incoming chief has not yet been disclosed, Gaffney indicated that the individual will be introduced during the meeting, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Station 3, located at 34W500 Carl Lee Road in St. Charles Township. The agenda also includes the approval of the new chief’s contract.

Gaffney noted that the new chief of operations is expected to begin their duties on Wednesday. The district currently operates two stations—one in St. Charles Township and another along Route 64 in Campton Hills. Together, they serve approximately 25,000 residents across 38 square miles, covering areas such as Wayne, Campton Hills, and St. Charles Township.

Excerpts from MySuburbanLife.com:

Greg Benson, who has served as the chief of the Fox River and Countryside Fire/Rescue District since its establishment in 2011, is set to retire by the end of October, according to an official announcement from the district. Prior to becoming a full-service district, the area relied on contracted services from the city of St. Charles.

The district has officially named Carl DeLeo as the new chief of operations. DeLeo will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects, including station management and firefighter coordination. According to Board President Jim Gaffney, the title was chosen with future flexibility in mind, in case the district ever decides to hire someone solely for administrative duties.

DeLeo brings over three decades of experience to the role, having retired as a captain from the Lisle/Woodridge Fire Protection District. His background in both operational and leadership capacities makes him well-suited for the position, and the district is hopeful that his appointment will bring renewed energy and efficiency to its services.

This revised version adds context, clarifies the structure of the district, and provides a more natural, human-written tone while expanding the content to meet the required length.

PVC Pipe Production Line

The PVC Pipe Production Line can be categorized based on the type of PVC pipe produced and its application.

1. PVC-U Water Supply Pipe Production Line
This production line can produce pipes with a diameter range of 16mm to 1000mm. The maximum extrusion capacity is between 300-1000 kg/h. The pipes have a smooth inner wall and are designed for high pressure resistance.
The PVC-U water supply pipes are resistant to chemicals, acids, and alkalis. They are non-toxic, have a long service life, and are easy to install. The production line features high productivity and stable operation.
Widely used in building indoor water supply systems, urban water supply piping systems, garden irrigation, and sewer piping systems.

2. PVC-U Drainage Pipe Production Line
The diameter range for these pipes is also 16mm to 1000mm. The production line is designed for efficient extrusion and cooling.
PVC-U drainage pipes are known for their simple construction, good corrosion resistance, and long service life. They are lightweight and easy to install.
Used in building drainage systems, sewage systems, urban road drainage systems, and chemical drainage systems.

3. PVC Power Cable Duct Production Line
This production line can produce pipes with a diameter range of 16mm to 1000mm. The pipes are designed for high corrosion resistance and good heat resistance.
The PVC power cable ducts are lightweight, resistant to aging, and easy to install. They provide excellent protection for electrical cables.
Mainly used in telecommunications, cable protection, and communication pipelines of highways.

4. PVC-C Pipe Production Line
The diameter range for PVC-C pipes is 16mm to 1000mm. The production line is designed for high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.
PVC-C pipes are heat-resistant, flame-resistant, and energy-saving. They are suitable for transporting hot water, corrosive liquids, and gases.
Widely used in civil and commercial cold and hot water pipe systems and direct drinking water systems.

5. PVC Hose Production Line
This production line can produce hoses with a diameter range of 16mm to 1000mm. The hoses can be customized for different applications.
