Yunnan Laojiao Red Flag Tin Ore Concentrator

From 1958 to 1973, the mine provided more than 6,000 tons of metal tin and paid profits of 9.25 million yuan. Most of the mine equipment overhaul and spare parts are processed by the mine, and a small part is assisted by the bureau's metallurgical repair factory.
The mine power supply came from Kaiyuan Power Plant, which was depressurized to 10 kV by the old substation and sent to the concentrator with a 5 km line. The concentrator is equipped with one transformer each of 560 and 180 kVA.
90% of the water used in the ore dressing is taken from the tailings backwater, and the water source is about 200 meters away from the high level pool of the ore dressing plant. The new water comes from the old lake.
The concentrator is built on a hillside of 20-25°, and the tailings discharge is self-flowing. The tailings pond is a natural depression that does not occupy farmland. It is about 100 meters and 2000 meters away from the ore dressing plant. Its large volume can be used for long-term storage of tailings and backwater.
(2) Process flow 1. Raw ore properties The ore treated in this mine is a medium-low temperature oxidized vein tin deposit. The main metallic minerals cassiterite, brown iron ore, hematite. The gangue minerals are calcite , dolomite, marble, and the like. The cassiterite is finely embedded and densely symbiotic with limonite and hematite, and most of the monomers are separated by grinding to 0.074 mm cassiterite. The ore contains 21-25% mud, which is a difficult to choose oxidized vein tin ore.
2. Process Flow The plant process is basically the same as the Yunxi area re-election principle process (see the figure below).

The process is a broken, three-stage grinding, three-stage selection. The secondary concentrate is concentrated and re-washed. The re-washed ore is returned to this section and re-selected. The re-washed tailings are separately ground and ground, and then sent to the slime for partial sedimentation. The mud bucket and the classifier overflow through the Ф250 mm cyclone classifier, and the grit sand is 0.074-0.037 mm into the grit bed. The overflow is further classified by the Ф125 cyclone, and the grit is 0.037-0.010 mm. The tank is sorted, overflowing into the sedimentation ditch, and the sedimentation of the sedimentation sand is sent to the soil to select a uniform tank for combined treatment. The concentrate of the homogenized tank is treated with a belt chute to improve the concentrate grade.
The machine chooses the shaker once to get the final concentrate, no tailings are lost, and the cyclone does not lose the tailings until the tailings are evenly divided.
By using the above process to treat the ore, a better sorting index can be obtained. For example, in 1973, the average tin content of the ore grade was 1.99%, the recovery rate was 80.34%, and the concentrate grade was 50.74.

The mine adheres to self-reliance, the local law is launched, and it is gradually improved. It has made less investment and quicker results, and has made certain contributions to the country.
Depending on the complex nature of the ore being treated, the plant has adopted refractory (including tin-limonite) and easy-selection (including tin-hematite and surface sand ore) ore in appropriate proportions since 1970 (60:30:1). The method of blending, which improves the sorting effect and makes the recovery rate reach about 80%.
According to the fine grain size of the original ore and the characteristics of many tuberculosis, the plant does not use washing in the process (but it needs to reduce the concentration of a rod mill to 55% or less), and the shaker and cyclone of each section are not tailing. Until the sizing operation, the Seiko was gradually replaced by the field, which not only simplified the process, but also effectively improved the recovery rate.
