Still & Box Alarm fire in Chicago, 4-26-16

Here's a message from Josh Boyajian:

I responded to a fire in the 22nd Battalion this afternoon on April 26, 2016, at 254 W. 118th Street. The structure was a three-story ordinary building with heavy fire coming through the roof. Fire companies were operating defensively with two master streams and two handlines. I arrived after most of the fire had been knocked down, but I managed to capture a few photos.

These images give a good sense of the scene and the response efforts. It’s always interesting to see how quickly crews can mobilize and manage these types of incidents. I’ve included several shots of the engine companies, the tower ladder, and some of the support vehicles that were on scene. If you're interested in more details about the incident or the equipment involved, feel free to ask!
