On April 21, the “Sichuan Mianyang New Energy Automobile Industry Development Seminar” was officially held in An County. The seminar was jointly hosted by Sichuan Mianyang Automobile Industry Park and Mianyang City (China Science and Technology City) New Energy Automobile Industry Alliance Zhejiang. Tsinghua University professor, doctoral tutor, director of the Automotive Research Institute of Tsinghua University, and deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Automotive Safety and Energy, Chen Quanshi gave a special lecture.

New energy battery manufacturers such as Tianjin Lishen, Changhong Power, Zhongke West Control, Yingzhi New Energy, and Tianming Technology have also settled in Mianyang.

It is studying and formulating the national first-innovation reform pilot zone and the military-civilian integration development reform pilot zone. The provincial government granted 19 provincial-level economic management authority to Mianyang Science and Technology City, issued the “Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Mianyang Science and Technology City” and supported the Mianyang Science and Technology City to accelerate the construction of ten policy measures. Mianyang City has issued 23 supportive innovation and entrepreneurship support measures and 33 “Yangquan Plan” support policies, and set up special funds of 400 million yuan to support innovation and entrepreneurship, talent development, achievement transformation, and industrial development.
