The Frankfort Fire Department received a box alarm for a house fire at 8303 Brickstone around 11:48 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found a two-story home fully engulfed and the flames spreading to the house to the west. The cause of the fire that destroyed a home in Frankfort early Thursday is still under investigation. Firefighters were called to the two-story house in the 8300 block of Brickstone Drive at approximately 11:48 p.m. on Wednesday and discovered it fully ablaze, according to Frankfort Fire Battalion Chief Nick Peters. The fire was under control within 45 minutes, but the home was a total loss, Peters said.
