House fire in Frankfort on May 23, 2012. The Frankfort Fire Department received a box alarm for a residence at 8303 Brickstone around 11:48 p.m. Upon arrival, crews found a two-story home fully involved and the flames spreading to the structure to the west. The cause of a fire that destroyed a Frankfort home early Thursday is still under investigation. Firefighters were called to the two-story house in the 8300 block of Brickstone Drive at about 11:48 p.m. Wednesday and found it engulfed in flames, according to Frankfort Fire Battalion Chief Nick Peters. The fire was brought under control within 45 minutes, but the home was a total loss. The blaze also caused exterior damage to the neighboring house and resulted in natural gas leaks in both residences, Peters said.
