Copper tailings comprehensive recovery of scheelite, gold, silver, iron examples (Bronze Mountain Copper Mine)

Copper Mountain copper mine recorded a large line of copper-iron skarn deposits in symbiosis, high-grade steel, large reserves, and associated gold, silver. Iron ore and copper sulfide partial oxidation iron ore, into the two types of ore dressing plants, divided into two systems for sorting, flotation concentrator - Magnetic Separation - strong magnetic separation process to produce copper concentrate and Iron concentrate, the total output of strong magnetic tailings is about 3 million tons, including 25,000 tons of copper metal and 1.32 million tons of iron. The copper minerals in strong magnetic tailings mainly include magnetite, hematite, limonite and siderite. The non-metallic minerals are mainly calcite , chalcedony, quartz , mica and sericite, followed by a small amount of garnet. , epidote, diopside, apatite and topaz. The multiple analysis and phase analysis of tailings are shown in Tables 1 to 4.

On the basis of the experiment, the concentrator designed and built a 1000t strong magnetic tailings comprehensive utilization plant, and used the conventional floating-heavy-magnetic combined process to comprehensively recover copper, gold, silver and iron. After the strong magnetic tailings are ground, sodium sulfide is added as a vulcanizing agent, Dinghuang and Hydroxamic acid are used as collectors, and No. 2 oil is used as a foaming agent for vulcanization flotation to recover copper, gold, silver and flotation tailings. Iron is selected by spiral chute (rough selection), and iron concentrate is selected by magnetic separation, as shown in Figure 1. The process conditions are: grinding fineness -0.074mm60%, Na 2 S2000g/t, Ding Huang The drug was 175 g/t, hydroxamic acid 36 g/t, and No. 2 oil 20 g/t. Finally, copper concentrate containing 15.4% copper, 18.5% gold, 109g/t silver, and iron concentrate containing 55.24% iron. The recovery rates of copper, gold, silver and iron were 70.56%, 79.33% and 69.34%, respectively. 56.68%. According to the treatment of 900t strong magnetic tailings, the annual production of 300 days, the annual comprehensive recovery of copper 1435.75t, gold 171.26kg, silver 1055.92kg, iron 33757t. Based on preliminary economic benefits, the annual output value can reach 10.82 million yuan and the annual profit is about 10 million yuan, with significant economic and social benefits.
