It is understood that the Ningde era is the third largest in the world, and the second largest domestic market share in China. The company was established in 2011, and has successively established a complete R&D and manufacturing line in the field of power and energy storage batteries. It has the core technology of the whole industry chain of materials, batteries, battery systems and battery recycling. At present, the Ningde era has provided power battery systems for pure electric and hybrid vehicles for BMW, Beiqi New Energy, Geely Automobile and Changan Automobile. In 2015, Ningde era shipments reached 2.43GWh, becoming the world's top electric vehicle battery supplier.

When talking about the project's journey to Fuyang, Zeng Yiqun, founder of Ningde Times New Energy Co., said that Time New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. actively integrated into the national “Belt and Road” and the development strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, so set up the Jiangsu era in Jiangsu Zhongguancun Science and Technology Industrial Park. New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., to build a production base for lithium-ion batteries in the Yangtze River Delta. It is reported that the total investment of the project is 10 billion yuan, and the land area is about 1000 mu. It is planned to purchase 17,173 sets of production equipment such as coating machine, cold press and slitting machine. The construction period of the project is 5 years. After the completion of the project, the annual production capacity of 10GWH power storage and lithium-ion battery will be formed. Among them, 7GWH battery core and 3GWH will be used as the power battery system, and the sales revenue of new products can reach 20 billion yuan. 7,000 new jobs were created.

Zeng Yiqun told reporters that domestic lithium battery manufacturers are mainly in North China and South China, and there are fewer battery companies in East China. The advanced manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Delta region is relatively developed, and there are many new energy vehicle manufacturers with superior strength. This time, the project was settled in Jiangsu Zhongguancun Science and Technology Industrial Park, which filled the gap in East China and helped the Ningde era to respond more quickly to customers. Demand, better serve customers in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Jiang Feng, secretary of the Fuyang Municipal Party Committee, said that this year, Xiangyang City has made efforts to build a 10 billion-level lithium battery industry cluster, and a number of major projects such as Peking University's first battery separator project and Kodali lithium battery precision structural parts project have been settled. Jiangsu Times New Energy Lithium Ion Project is an important support for the city to build a green energy base. Based on it, Jiangsu Zhongguancun will become a “green energy town” with distinctive industrial features, complete supporting facilities and beautiful ecological environment.
