According to the latest “China Wind Power Development Report 2010” issued by the two agencies mentioned above, the cumulative installed capacity of wind power in China could reach 230 million kilowatts by 2020, which is equivalent to 13 Three Gorges power stations; the total generating capacity can reach 464.9 billion kwh, equivalent to replacing 200 Thermal power plant.
