·Beijing Benz Auto Co., Ltd. recalled some domestic Chrysler 300C cars
Recently, Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Products Recall" and the "Implementation Measures for the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls", which will be on June 18, 2018. A total of 4,152 vehicles of the 2006-2007 Chrysler 300C, which were produced from September 11, 2006 to April 16, 2008, were recalled.
Some of the vehicles in the scope of the recall, the front airbags of the driver and the front passengers were equipped with an ammonium nitrate gas generator without a desiccant produced by Takada. When the airbag is deployed, the gas generator may be abnormally damaged, causing debris to fly out, which may damage the inside of the vehicle and pose a safety hazard. Beijing Benz Auto Co., Ltd. will replace the improved front airbag gas generator (including 3,335 drivers and front passengers, 817 front passengers) for vehicles in the recall range to eliminate safety hazards.
